Media Relations Representative
Liz Klipp handles media and public relations support for Georgia Tech's College of Engineering, which includes the following nine schools: the Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering; the Wallace H. Coulter Department Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University; the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering; the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering; the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering; the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering; the School of Materials Science and Engineering; and the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering.
Klipp also serves as press liaison for the Georgia Tech Research Institute, the Enterprise Innovation Institute, the Advanced Technology Development Center, the Alumni Association, the Library, Department of Professional Practice, Georgia Tech Licensing and international campuses, such as Georgia Tech-Lorraine.
Prior to joining the Tech media team in 2010, Klipp worked as a public relations specialist for Georgia State University for three years and a journalist for newspapers in Florida and Maryland for five years.
Klipp earned her bachelor's degree in journalism and English literature from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2002.
